The works of 14 artists and designers have been selected to adorn the Lakeshore Drive overpass as banners.
Officials with the Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) and the City of North Bay announced the successful applicants, pointing out 71 submissions were made.
They include:

- Penny Heather
- Ian Gauthier
- Caitlin Daniel
- Victoria Primeau
- Gerry McComb
- Annabelle Harvey
- Robyn Jones
- Tessa Shank
- Adam Fielder
- Claudia Torres
Banners will be installed in the coming weeks along the overpass leading into the West Ferris and downtown areas.
“We were extremely impressed with the caliber of submissions,” says Carissa MacIntosh, PAAC Chair. “Each artist brings a unique perspective and style, which will add to the vibrancy and appeal of the community.”
Officials say the overpass banner art project is part of an ongoing effort to increase public art in the city and recognize local talent.
