Shaping the future of human services the focus for NOSDA

The Northern Ontario Service Deliverers Association (NOSDA), which includes officials with the District of Nipissing Social Service Administration Board (DNSSAB) is looking to shape the future of human services in the north.

That’s the theme of the group’s annual general meeting, underway in Greater Sudbury.

Keynote addresses, panel discussions and sessions are taking place on several topics, including housing and homelessness, early learning and childcare, the opioid crisis, healthcare in the north and more.

Over 180 people are taking part.

Officials say they’re looking to further NOSDA’s goals of expanding partnerships and improving stakeholder communications, promoting best practices, improving client outcomes and more.
