Ontario 511 reports Highway 11 reopened in North Bay before 8 am.
The highway was closed for several hours Friday morning between the Lakeshore turnoff and the Bypass.
There’s only a few details but emergency crews were dispatched to a crash just before 2:30 am.
In Sturgeon Falls, traffic is being impacted by a fire at an old gas station in the 100 block of Front Street.
Fire crews and Ontario Provincial Police were still on the scene after 8 am Friday.
At last check the highway is still closed with a detour is set up from Clark to Arthur.
Meantime, Nipissing West OPP are advising drivers to watch for bison in the Lavigne area of Highway 64.
This after a fence was damaged from a fallen tree.
Provincial police say about 50 bison wandered off the property to the surrounding area.
The OPP is asking drivers to slow down and drive safely in that area.
