Police looking for suspect after Lakeshore Drive stabbing incident

The North Bay Police Service is investigating a stabbing incident at a residence in the 1200 block of Lakeshore Drive. 

Police say around 6:30 pm on Thursday, officers were called to the home with a man suffering from multiple stab wounds found on Lakeshore.   

He was being helped by other people with paramedics then taking him to hospital.  

Police say the victim was stabilized and eventually air-lifted to a Sudbury hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

“Police are still actively investigating the incident, and at this time investigators can advise the public that the two individuals involved in this incident are known to each other, and there is no risk to the general public,” states a release from police. 

No arrests have been made yet.  

The North Bay Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Unit is seeking eye witnesses and possible dash cam footage in the 1200 block area of Lakeshore Drive, between 6 pm and 7 pm on June 27th, that may have captured any portion of the incident.
