A new left turn signal on Airport Road is about to go active.
The city says it will make turning left onto O’Brien Street, toward Golf Club Road, a little easier.
They add the new signal, which is equipped with wireless detection sensors that only activate when vehicles are present, will start by next week following final safety tests.
Left turn signals, including the recently activated left turn onto O’Brien Street towards Ski Club Road, are designed to make left turns safer and more efficient – especially in high traffic areas.
