The Salvation Army’s annual Kettle Campaign is kicking off Friday at 11:00 am at Deegan’s on Main Street West.
Officials say Kettles will start appearing in stores on Saturday.
Major Stephanie Watkinson with the Salvation Army says this year, the fundraising goal is $250,000.
She adds the event is their main fundraiser and it not only supports their Christmas assistance, but also year-round programs.
The kettles will remain in the area until Christmas Eve.
