A winter weather travel advisory is no longer in effect for the North Bay area.
Environment Canada earlier said we can expect an additional 5 to 10 cm of snow Tuesday (Nov. 26) before it tapers off early in the evening.
Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services says school buses are cancelled today (Tuesday, Nov. 26) in West Nipissing, Mattawa, Redbridge and East Parry Sound South, along with all of West Parry Sound.
Schools remain open.
On social media, officials say their website is down and they’re apologizing for any inconvenience.
Ontario 511 reports the one southbound lane of Highway 11 that was closed earlier in the Callander area was reopened just before 9 am.
It was closed just after 5:30 am at Highway 654 and Lake Nosbonsing Road after a collision.
11 North in between Temagami and Latchford, and in New Liskeard reopened just before 7 am.
The road was closed after two earlier collisions.
