Near North Crime Stoppers is celebrating its successes this Crime Stoppers Month.
Officials say 1,007 tips were received in 2024, resulting in 36 arrests and 19 cases being cleared.
Over $113,000 in cash, drugs and property were recovered.
“The success we celebrate during Crime Stoppers Month would not exist if not for our partnership with you, the police and the media,” reads a post on social media. “The numbers show that by working together, we’ve been able to make a difference in East and West Parry Sound, West Nipissing, North Bay and Mattawa.”
