The North Bay OPP says postmortems will take place on Thursday in Sudbury after Monday’s fatal collision on Highway 63, near Highway 533.
Ontario Provincial Police say a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle collided head-on, with two people in the passenger vehicle pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured.
Emergency crews responded around 8 o’clock Monday morning.
The highway was closed for about seven hours after the crash.
