Grab the ice auger, it’s Free Family Fishing weekend in Ontario.
The province says Canadians can fish for free in Ontario Saturday through Monday, without having to buy a fishing licence or Outdoors Card.
Officials say all other fishing regulations and rules, including catch and size limits, still apply.
You’ll also need identification issued by the province of feds if taking part.
Ontario has four licence-free fishing events each year.
