Special Olympics Ontario is benefiting from this weekend’s North Bay Polar Plunge.
It’s one of a few dozen being held across the province.
All funds raised support programming and events for 23,000 athletes across Ontario.
The North Bay Police Service and partners are hosting the event on Saturday at the NUSU Student Centre.

Registration takes place at 11 am with the plunge beginning at 12:30 pm.
At last check, over $31,000 has been raised so far.
