You can now buy Our Hospital 50/50 and Split the Pot Lottery tickets in person in the North Bay area.
The North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) Foundation says this is the first time independent, non-OLG lotteries are being sold in convenience stores.
Tammy Morison, NBRHC Foundation President & CEO says they’re excited to see the tickets available at five stores.
“Our lottery programs play an important role in enhancing healthcare for your friends, family and loved ones, and giving our community a chance to win,” she says. “We’re eager to see the impact these stores have on our region’s healthcare.”
Since its inception in 2020, North Bay Our Hospital 50/50 has awarded more than $2.6 million in prizes.
Money from the Our Hospital 50/50 has helped fund the expansion of the Renal unit, refurbish the MRI machine and, most recently, bring two state-of-the-art SPECT/CT machines to the Nuclear Medicine department.
The foundation says the Split the Pot Lottery has raised over $100,000 locally with nine winners from the North Bay region and over $71,000 awarded in prize money.
All proceeds directly benefit NBRHC Foundation.
