MPP Vic Fedeli has been named the Osprey Links Golf Gala’s new tournament co-chair.
The event is held every year to raise money, so young people dealing with mental health issues can receive top of the line care close to home.
Former Ontario Premier Mike Harris presented Fedeli as the new co-chair yesterday.
Fedeli says there’s a huge need for mental health funding in the community, and he’s glad events like the Gala are able to raise awareness about the stigma of mental illness.
