The North Bay Police Service’s traffic officer held a targeted traffic enforcement today, and 14 drivers were hit with speeding tickets.
The enforcement took place over a two-and-a-half-hour period on the 900 block of Airport Road, where the speed limit is 60 kilometres an hour. The highest speed recorded by the police was 87 kilometres an hour.
Three of the 14 drivers were also hit for failing to produce their insurance cards.
