The North Bay Police Service, Mac’s Convenience Stores and Near North Crime Stoppers are teaming up on Monday morning for the Mac’s StreetArt initiative.
Toronto street artist Magic “Finnga” Wong will help prepare the base of a mural that will be painted on the outside wall of Mac’s Convenience Store on Cassels Street.
Teens and young adults are invited to add their tags to the wall with the provided spray paint, and the mural will be completed by Wong.
Other murals have been successfully completed in partnership with the Toronto Police Service, York Regional Police, Peel Regional Police, Thunder Bay Police Service, Barrie Police Service, and Ottawa Police Service.
The final results of the mural will be on display August 24th at noon.
