The Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defence at 22 Wing North Bay is launching a new exhibit about the history of the wing entitled “North Bay @ 65”.
September 1st is the 65th anniversary of the military installation that is currently known as 22 Wing North Bay.
It originally opened as Royal Canadian Air Force Station North Bay, 65 years of history will be told through artifacts that represent over six-decades of history.
Artifacts range from newspapers to air defence equipment; from uniforms to military souvenirs.
“North Bay @ 65” opens on Thursday, September 1, on the exact anniversary day, and will run until the end of the year.
