The Gathering Place has surpassed its capital campaign goal by more than $100,000
The organization raised over $900,000 in just eight months.
The money will go towards the new Gathering Place location at 1181 Cassells Street in downtown North Bay. The final designs of the new project are moving ahead.
Construction is expected to start in the fall at the new location. Officials say plenty of work needs to be done before they open at the new location likely in the summer or fall of 2017.
