The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 48-year-old North Bay man following an incident at the police station.
According to police, the man was at the station on Sunday evening dealing with a collision involving his vehicle. The man became irate and began screaming and swearing at the front desk employees.
Three officers came out to the front lobby to try to calm him down, but instead he assaulted one of the officers. The other two officers gained physical control of the man, and arrested him.
After a search, police found the man had a folding knife, 37 meth pills, over 90 grams of marijuana and nearly $450 cash on him. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
