North Bay Police have arrested a 20-year-old Corbeil man following an investigation into potential impaired driving.
According to police, an off-duty officer saw the man nearly strike a parked vehicle while driving around 7:30am Saturday morning.
The officer called police, suspecting that the driver was impaired. He then spoke to the driver, identified himself as a police officer, and arrested the man for impaired driving. A North Bay Police patrol officer then arrived at the scene, and took the man to the police station for breath tests.
The man was released from custody and has a court date scheduled for September 13th.
