Final surface paving for the rehabilitation of Airport Road is starting today. Airport Road from Stockdale Road to O’Brien Street will be closed as a result beginning this morning and will remain closed tomorrow as well. A release from the city states local access to adjacent businesses will be maintained using contractors flagging personal. Pioneer Construction will be the contractor completing the works.
Detours will be set up for both eastbound and westbound traffic. During the course of construction, local traffic access will be reconfigured as needed to maintain access to businesses. Officials ask drivers to follow the directional signage set up during this time.
