It’s Easter Monday, a holiday for some but not all.
Schools, government offices, the public library and Canada Post all observe the holiday.
Most businesses plus Northgate Shopping Centre, the LCBO and the Beer Store outlets are open. Most banks are open but check with your branch to be sure.
It’s important to note for students and other transit riders, that buses will operate on a Sunday schedule today.
The Education Centre building will be open today. Canadore College resumes regular business hours after the Easter weekend and all facilities are open.
There are no classes at Nipissing University today. University facilities, including the Robert J. Surtees Athletic Centre are closed, however, the Harris Learning Library will be open from 9:30am until 5:00pm. The university will resume full hours of operation on Tuesday.
