Nipissing University’s homecoming weekend starts tomorrow with a kickoff event at the main foyer.
At 2:00 pm, there will be a History Downtown hike. The University is also planning its Alumni Awards night for tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm at the Grande Event Centre on Main Street. There is also a Lakers basketball game starting at 6:00 pm vs Canadore.
Rounding out the evening will be Alumni Pub night at the Raven and Republic.
Saturday will see a busy day for alumni and students alike with a bunch of events planned, but the big event is the Women’s Lakers hockey team taking on Laurentian at Memorial Gardens starting at 7:30 pm.
Sunday, as events wind down, has a good-bye breakfast along with two soccer games.
