North Bay Police make arrest in connection to break and enter

Early Thursday morning, an alarm was set off at a business in the area around McKeown and Cartier Street.

Once police arrived, they were able to arrest a 41-year-old man from North Bay near the business. He has since been charged with:

  • One count of Break and Enter Theft
  • One count of Disguise with Intent
  • One count of Possession Break In Instruments
  • Three counts of Possession of a Scheduled Substance
  • One Count of Breach of Recognizance

The police found a small amount of cash that was returned to the business. Police also found on the man:

  • A face mask
  • A large screwdriver and a chisel.
  • Two grams of suspected cocaine
  • One gram of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine
  • One gram of suspected Purple Fentanyl

The man has been held for a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
