For the second year in a row, the North Bay Heritage Train and Carousel will not be running.
“The jewel of our North Bay Waterfront sits idle for another season,” the company stated in a Facebook update Saturday. “Social distancing, sanitizing, concerns for both riders and volunteers, and other limiting factors make it impossible.”
The carousel also cancelled its summer season last year due to COVID-19 concerns.
Prior to last year, the train had run every single summer dating back to 1994.
