A free online “We Are Pride” concert has been lined up locally for September.
North Bay Pride announced the headliner for the live-streamed concert on Facebook is Canadian singer/songwriter Serena Ryder.
“North Bay Pride has really ensured that we show the empowerment women have in all areas of society,” says Ryder. “I cannot wait to share new music with you and play my favourite songs. We hope we encourage everyone to be their true authentic selves.”
Bif Naked is also returning and will be performing with her full band.
The evening will be hosted by northern Ontario comedian Alice Rose. Toronto singer/songwriter Dani Doucette starts off the evening of entertainment on September 18th.
“We are excited about the entire 5 days that have been planned for North Bay Pride this year,” says Jason Maclennan, Communications Director for North Bay Pride. “Our community has really come together with supporters of the community. We have gained new sponsors, new partnerships around North Bay and Area, that only proves the strength that Pride has in all communities.”
