The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an armed and dangerous person incident.
The public is being asked to stay away from the Pickerel River Forest Access Road area.
The Pickerel River is south of the French River in the Highway 69 area.
Police say the suspect involved is a 34-year-old man driving an ATV.
