One lane of Wallace Road has reopened between Lake Heights Road and Commerce Court.
However, the city says traffic through the construction site will remain at one lane until late October with temporary traffic lights set up.
This as crews continue to install a new sewage pumping station and sanitary sewer in the area.
Local access to properties and businesses within the construction area will be provided, although minor traffic delays can be expected during the project.
The infrastructure project started in early August.
