UPDATE:

Concerned parents and the public are receiving reassurances from the North Bay Police Service after numerous social media posts claiming there was a safety risk to students and staff at Chippewa Secondary School.

Police responded to reports of threats allegedly made by a youth against the safety of members of the school community.

Police say the incident was safely resolved before the start of the school day on Monday, September 27, 2021, and school officials took corrective action.
