Two Toronto men are facing drug possession for the purpose of trafficking charges in North Bay.
The North Bay Police Service reports officers attempted to stop the pair outside a home on Algonquin Avenue Tuesday before 10 pm.
It’s alleged they both fled on foot and after a foot pursuit, both were taken into custody.
Searches by police resulted in the seizure of suspected purple fentanyl and cocaine, some money and four cell phones.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $40,000.
The accused were held pending a show cause hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
