Hi I’m Kathy J!
I’ve been in the radio industry for 9 years, and it all started by chance. While working at a local radio station in Swift Current, SK, doing data entry, I was asked if I’d be interested in hosting an evening show. I jumped at the opportunity, and now, nearly a decade later, I can confidently say I’m doing what I love!
I’m new to the North Bay area, but I’ve been getting out and about to as many events as I can to meet people. I’m definitely a people person and make the most of every day with a smile!

- I have two cats, Charlie and Lily—does that officially make me a cat lady?
- If you see me around town with my headphones on, don’t be shy—say hi! I love music and often dance along to it, so feel free to join me.
- I’m a grandma to three wonderful grandkids who live in Ottawa, and it’s great that they’re just a four-hour drive away.
- I’m a foodie and take pictures of all my food, especially when I eat out.
