There’s no shortage of activities on the go this weekend in North Bay.

Ferris Fun Day takes place on Saturday throughout West Ferris.

A number of locations will have $1 hot dogs. There’s also a dunk tank, inflatables, a car wash and much more.

One unique event is Long and McQuaid’s ‘instrument petting zoo’ where you can try out various instruments.

Also on Saturday, officials with the local Rotary and Rotaract clubs are celebrating 100 years of Rotary in North Bay.

From 11 am to 2 pm at the Rotary Splash Pad, there’s face painting, crafts and McDonald’s Happy Meals for the kids, while supplies last.

Also taking place this weekend, from Friday through Sunday, is Shake The Lake featuring Ribs North Bay at the waterfront.

Along with four ribbers, there are vendors, plenty of musical entertainment, a kids’ zone, fireworks and more.

Wristbands can be purchased at The Boat North Bay.

On Sunday afternoon, the Davedi Club is hosting its annual family picnic.

The rain or shine event runs from 2 pm to 5:30 pm and is open to everyone in the community.

There’s free admission for the children’s games, a bouncy castle and entertainment, with bbq food and beverages for sale.
