Stephanie Allard is this year’s Leslie Burt-Manary RN Leadership Award at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC).
She is a Registered Nurse and unit lead on A1/Evergreen Lodge involving complex continuing care and senior’s mental health.
Officials say Allard has dedicated 33 years to caring for others and is a role model and mentor.
They add she has made significant contributions to the team by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
“Congratulations to Stephanie and best wishes as we celebrate her achievement and Nurses week,” says Joanne Laplante, Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive, NBRHC. “This award is a significant part of our celebration of Nurses Week. It highlights the qualities of nurses, their knowledge, skills, compassion and dedication to patient care, no matter what circumstances they are facing.”
The award honours Leslie Burt-Manary, a dedicated nurse who died of cancer in 2017.
