Canadore College is reporting its new state-of-the-art sports dome is coming to ‘life’.
Officials updated the project on social media saying the concrete has been poured and the turf is now in place at the Commerce Court Campus.
“Opening this Fall, the facility will cater to a multitude of sports including year-round soccer, golf, baseball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, dry land training and sport conditioning,” reads the Facebook post.
The college says the community will be able to access the sports dome, helping to build athletic capacity and tourism in the region.

Construction of the 6,200 square foot attached clubhouse is also well underway.
It will include change rooms, dedicated instructional and meeting space, and more.
