The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority says its in the process of securing interim leadership.
This after the resignation of Chief Administrative Officer Chithra Gowda.
Officials say her resignation takes effect June 10 as she’s taking a role with an Eastern Ontario conservation authority.
“During her time as the CAO, Chithra provided direction and oversight as the organization was tasked with realigning the programs, compliance and reporting processes to meet the significant changes put in place by the provincial government,” reads a statement from the board. “The Board is extremely grateful to Chithra for the energy, vision and dedication she brought to the North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
The recruitment process for a permanent CAO is also getting underway.
