Officials are sharing an update to the cyber incident that affected school boards across Ontario and North America earlier this month.
The Near North School Board says the incident involved the PowerSchool’s Student Information System, and has seen information from all students enrolled in their board since 2015 have information leaked, including first and last name, their Ontario Education Number, date of birth, addresses and more. Some students had more sensitive information leaked, including medical alert information, names of emergency contacts and more.
