The Ministry of Natural Resources has issued a Flood Outlook bulletin for the North Bay District until next Friday.
This as a low-pressure system is traveling through the province this weekend, with warm temperatures and rainfall Saturday and Sunday likely to impact low lying areas with a history of flooding.
“Residents in these areas are encouraged to monitor conditions and prepare accordingly,” reads the bulletin.
Shoreline and ice conditions are also expected to be impacted.
Officials say northern reaches of the district could receive up to 30 mm of rain, with up to 40 mm in the southern reaches of the district.
