The North Bay Granite Club’s Team Winters U18 curling team is heading to the U20 Nationals on a winning note.
They won the A division at the Coldwell Banker Bonspiel at the granite club last weekend.
40 teams from Deep River, Cochrane, Timmins, Sudbury, and surrounding area competed.
Next up, the team is representing Northern Ontario at the U20 Nationals, which start this weekend (March 23-30) in Summerside, PEI.
At age 16, officials say they’re expected to the be one of the youngest teams taking part.
