Emergency repairs are forcing the closure of a section of Lakeshore Drive.
The city says the northbound lanes will be closed for most of the day, starting at 9 am, between George Street and Judge Avenue.
Traffic is being re-routed onto side streets in that area.
Official say drivers can expect delays and are drivers encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes where possible, and allow extra travel time.
