Four North Bay Battalion players are listed in the final NHL Central Scouting rankings before the NHL Draft.
They include Battalion right wingers Shamar Moses, at 104 and Lirim Amidovski, at 123 on the North American Skaters list.
Defenceman Jonathan Kapageridis, who played most of the season with Cobourg in the OJHL, is at 211.
Mike McIvor is 26 on the North American Goaltender rankings.
“Each of these players deserves the distinction of being ranked and, in my opinion, there’s an argument for each of them to be higher up,” says Adam Dennis, director of hockey operations.
The 2025 NHL Draft will be held in Los Angeles on Jun. 27-28.
Dennis, meantime, is getting set for the OHL Under-18 Priority Selection on Wednesday evening.
The 20 OHL clubs will make picks through two rounds, involving players born in 2007 or 2008 from U18 AAA programs across Ontario.
In last weekend’s OHL Priority Selection, the Battalion chose eight forwards, five defenceman and two goaltenders.
Toronto Jr. Canadiens centre Cam Warren was the Troops’ sixth overall pick in the first round.
The Battalion also selected two North Bay Trappers, U16 centre Owen Smith and U18 defenceman Karter Buchmann.
