Man arrested by Mattawa OPP for stolen tools

The Mattawa Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a 25-year-old Mattawa man following an investigation.

In mid-July, trailers on a Highway 656 property in Mattawan Township were broken into and had some items stolen.

A Makita drill and a wrench set were recovered by police, but some items are still outstanding.

Including, a red Milwaukee hard container box, an 18-volt hammer drill, a Stihl Rock Boss MD, a Briggs 8000 WGE  generator, an Allen key set and an electric circular saw.

The man was released from police custody, and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Mattawa tomorrow.
