Members of the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police want to remind drivers that officers will be out patrolling the highways targeting the Big Four which include impaired, aggressive, and distracted driving as well as the proper use of seatbelts. All of these risk taking behaviors pose a safety risk to road users.
The OPP would like to remind drivers and passengers to do their part in keeping everyone safe. Drivers can adopt safe and defensive driving behaviors while passengers can be intolerant of the behaviors which pose a safety risk to everyone.
Police ask whether you are out on Ontario’s highways, roadways, waterways or trails that you think safety first and make sure everyone gets to their destinations safely.
