The Mattawa OPP says one person has died after a two-vehicle collision that closed Highway 17 East near Highway 630 in Calvin Township on Monday. Around 12:30pm, an SUV driving eastbound hit a pickup truck going westbound and the driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured. The OPP says the investigation is continuing, and will provide more updates as they become available.
