The North Bay Police Service has charged a 34-year-old city man with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police say officers attempted to execute an arrest warrant after locating a person in a vehicle at an Algonquin Avenue gas station on Friday night.
It’s alleged the accused fled on foot.
He was located a short time later in the backyard of a Maplewood Avenue residence.
About $1,150 worth of suspected methamphetamine, crystal methamphetamine and cocaine were seized.
Police also seized $715.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
