Backpacks of Love Campaign

The Compassionate Committee for the Homeless in North Bay is producing Backpacks of Love filled with donated essential items.We need the community of North Bay’s generosity!
Donated items will be accepted at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, 480 McIntyre St. W. (at the garage location across the street from the church) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
New items needed include:
Sturdy backpacks/duffle bag                                 6 pk of socks – light & heavy
Silver emergency blanket (not regular blankets)     Sun hats/ball caps
Deodorant                                                           Sunscreen (cream only)
Small hairbrushes (not combs)                              Travel size shampoo/conditioner
Tarp                                                                    Feminine hygiene products
Toilet paper                                                         Insect repellent (cream only)
Towelettes/wipes                                                  Rain poncho
Toothbrush                                                          Toothpaste
Lip balm                                                              Travel size body wash
Hair elastics for ladies                                           Reusable water bottles
