East Coaster Studios – One Kids Place Charity Event

Cast your vote and come out and celebrate Canada with incredible Canadian musicians, Madison Violet and Terra Spencer.

What is it?

It is the next event in the East Coaster Studios Presents concert series. This show is a concert and silent auction to benefit the family support program at One Kids Place. The family support program is a funding initiative aimed at addressing the unique financial needs of our children, youth, and their families. This program seeks to remove barriers and alleviate financial burdens for families supporting children with disabilities.

 

The silent auction includes donations from local artists, potters, and businesses.

 

Musicians:

1. Madison Violet is a Canadian Juno-nominated female musical duo, consisting of Lisa MacIsaac and Brenley MacEachern. 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Madison Violet. They have also announced that this will serve as their farewell tour and this may be your last chance to see them perform together!

The pair, who both have roots in rural Cape Breton, came together musically in the late 1990s. Influenced by their maritime heritage, Brenley and Lisa began creating music together that had roots firmly planted in their past, but with contemporary and modern elements generously overlaid. Categorizing Madison Violet’s music is an impossible task, in that one can hear elements of folk, singer-songwriter, pop, indie, bluegrass, and country flawlessly interwoven throughout.

2. Terra Spencer is Nova Scotian singer-songwriter with an impressive list of accomplishments and collaborators. She has released four albums and earned a stack of awards. Her latest album ‘Sunset’ has garnered three East Coast Music Award nominations and has an impressive list of musical guests from Matt Andersen to Stephen Fearing.
