Remembrance Day Ceremonies

Royal Canadian Legion members are now distributing poppies and accepting donations to the Poppy Fund.  The 2023 poppy campaign is underway and includes traditional poppy boxes, plus a Pay Tribute Box for digital donations. The boxes allow for donations of $2, $5 or $10 with a simple tap of either a credit or debit card or a payment app on their smartphone.

Local Remembrance Day Ceremonies

The Callander Legion Pipes and Drums, the Colour Party and Legion members will parade along Veterans Way to the Callander Cenotaph for services at 11 am.

Legion Branch 23 in North Bay says this year’s Remembrance Day Service will be back at Memorial Gardens.

West Ferris Legion Branch 599 is holding a Remembrance Day ceremony as well. They’ve also started their poppy campaign with poppy boxes located throughout the West Ferris area of the city.
