Description: The Evolution of Quintland – Coffee and Conversation
Join us for a captivating presentation on the fascinating story of Quintland and how it evolved over time. Curator Natasha Wiatr will discuss how the birth of the Dionne Quintuplets brought remarkable changes to the area as it attracted over 3 million people from 1934 to 1942. Over time souvenir shops, guard houses, staff houses, and public washrooms sprang up as Quintland evolved to accommodate the thousands of daily tourists and this presentation looks at these changes and how it looks today.
Coffee will be available, you are welcome to bring your own mug.
